Sales Representative Jobs in Irving: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales representative job in Irving?
Focus on the industries that drive Irving hiring: telecom carriers and resellers clustered in Las Colinas, financial services firms in the Heritage District, and technology companies along the Freeport corridor. Candidates with experience selling to mid-market or enterprise accounts, familiarity with CRM platforms, and a demonstrated ability to build territory from scratch stand out in this market. Networking through Irving Chamber of Commerce events also connects you with hiring managers at local offices.
Which companies hire sales representatives in Irving?
Companies currently hiring sales representatives in Irving include SpotOn, Fleetpride, and Caterpillar, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Irving attracts a mix of large corporate headquarters, regional offices of national firms, and mid-size B2B companies, giving candidates options across both inside and field sales roles.
Are there remote sales representative jobs in Irving?
Yes, though availability depends on the role type. Inside sales and account management positions lean more remote-friendly, while field and territory sales roles typically require in-person client work. About 50% of sales representative openings tied to Irving are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting strong demand from the telecom and software companies that operate out of the Las Colinas corridor.
How can I get a sales representative job in Irving with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Irving is through inside sales development or business development representative roles at the telecom and SaaS companies headquartered in Las Colinas, many of which run structured onboarding and quota-ramp programs for new hires. Retail sales experience at nearby Irving shopping centers or business-to-consumer roles at local service companies also translates well. Highlighting any customer-facing work, strong communication skills, and a willingness to prospect by phone gives entry-level candidates a clear edge with Irving employers.
