We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic franchise Ford service team. The ideal candidate is responsible for greeting customers warmly, identifying vehicle mechanical and maintenance needs, running OASIS checks, managing repair orders, and maximizing customer satisfaction (CSI) while driving store service performance.
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000
Key Responsibilities & Duties
· Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and conduct active walk-around inspections.
· Listen to customer concerns and document clear, accurate descriptions on repair orders.
· Verify Ford factory warranties, Powertrain coverage, Ford Protect Extended Service Plans (ESP), and Ford Blue Advantage CPO benefits.
· Run VINs through OASIS to identify and address open safety recalls or field service actions.
· Prepare accurate written cost estimates for parts, labor, and maintenance intervals.
· Communicate inspection results and obtain proper customer authorization before performing additional repairs.
· Monitor repair progress throughout the day and maintain close communication with technicians and dispatchers.
· Coordinate loaner vehicles, shuttle services, or rental options as needed.
· Ensure high customer satisfaction standards, protect CSI scores, and handle post-service customer follow-ups.
· Maintain a professional appearance and keep the service drive clean and organized.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Prior experience as an automotive service advisor (Franchise dealership or Ford background strongly preferred).
· Strong working knowledge of dealership management software and repair order processing.
· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check.
