PURPOSE
The Food Services Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and community alignment of the various district school nutrition programs. This position independently monitors school sites for USDA/ODE compliance while working collaboratively with school district employees and the district's contracted Food Service Management Company (FSMC) personnel. The specialist acts as a technical advisor to school staff, and coordinates directly with the Oregon Department of Education (ODE).
