Strategy Analyst Jobs in Indiana: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a strategy analyst in Indiana?
Most strategy analyst positions in Indiana require at minimum a bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, or a quantitative field, and the role carries no state-issued license or mandatory certification. Employers in Indianapolis and across Indiana value candidates who combine analytical coursework with demonstrated experience in data interpretation or business planning, whether through internships, co-op programs at Indiana universities, or adjacent roles in finance or operations.
How much do strategy analysts make in Indiana?
Strategy analysts in Indiana earn a median of about $95,560 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $55,160 for the lowest 10% to over $158,820 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire strategy analysts in Indiana?
Indiana strategy analyst roles are posted by MISO, Labcorp, and Lippert and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Indiana's concentration of life sciences headquarters, regional health systems, and technology companies means demand is distributed across both corporate strategy teams and consultancy-style internal roles.
Which Indiana cities have the most strategy analyst jobs?
Indianapolis, Indiana, and Carmel are the Indiana cities with the most strategy analyst openings. Indianapolis leads because it is home to major corporate headquarters in healthcare, insurance, and technology, while Fort Wayne and Bloomington benefit from large regional employers and the presence of Indiana University's business and research operations that generate consistent strategy-focused hiring.
Are there remote strategy analyst jobs in Indiana?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 75% of strategy analyst openings tied to Indiana are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how well the role's core deliverables, such as modeling, research, and presentation work, translate to distributed teams. Fully remote postings tend to come from larger corporations and consulting-adjacent firms where stakeholder meetings happen virtually.
How can I get hired as a strategy analyst in Indiana with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is targeting associate analyst or junior strategy roles at Indiana's large healthcare and insurance employers, where organizations like Indiana University Health and Anthem run structured new-graduate programs for business and economics majors. Lateral moves from financial analyst, operations coordinator, or market research roles are common stepping stones. Building a portfolio of case studies or completing a CFA Level I or a business analytics certificate strengthens candidacy for candidates without direct strategy titles.
Where can I find and apply to strategy analyst jobs in Indiana?
You can find and apply to strategy analyst jobs in Indiana on Migrate Mate, which lists current Indiana openings from employers across the state. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your experience and location preferences, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
