Strategy Consultant Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a strategy consultant in New Hampshire?
Strategy consulting in New Hampshire does not require a state-issued license. The typical path begins with a bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or a quantitative field, followed by experience in an analyst or associate role at a consulting firm, corporate strategy team, or in-house advisory function. An MBA strengthens candidacy at mid-to-senior levels. New Hampshire employers in healthcare and defense also value candidates with domain-specific experience in those industries alongside core consulting credentials.
How much do strategy consultants make in New Hampshire?
Strategy consultants in New Hampshire earn a median of about $104,270 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $66,550 for the lowest 10% to over $162,000 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire strategy consultants in New Hampshire?
Employers hiring strategy consultants in New Hampshire right now include BAE Systems USA, Celestica, and CVS Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's mix of defense contractors near Manchester, healthcare networks anchored by Dartmouth Health, and financial services firms with Nashua-area offices makes the employer base more diverse than the state's size might suggest.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most strategy consultant jobs?
New Hampshire, Nashua, and Hanover lead New Hampshire for strategy consultant openings. Manchester drives the most volume as the state's largest city and commercial center, with corporate headquarters and professional services firms concentrated there, while Concord draws advisory roles tied to state government and healthcare administration, and Nashua attracts candidates through its proximity to Boston-based firms with New Hampshire offices.
Are there remote strategy consultant jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of strategy consultant openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how much of the work involves analysis, presentations, and client calls that travel well over video. Project phases that require on-site workshops or executive alignment sessions at client offices in Manchester or Concord are the parts most likely to require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a strategy consultant in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an analyst or junior associate role at a New Hampshire-based firm or the consulting division of a large employer. Dartmouth Health and BAE Systems both run structured rotational or early-career programs that place candidates in strategy-adjacent functions. Candidates transitioning from finance, operations, or project management roles carry directly applicable skills. A strong case study portfolio or completion of a recognized business analysis certification gives candidates without formal consulting experience a concrete differentiator in New Hampshire hiring processes.
Where can I find and apply to strategy consultant jobs in New Hampshire?
You can find and apply to strategy consultant jobs in New Hampshire on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the available roles, find the ones that fit your background and target location, and apply directly to each position from the listing.
