Entry-level candidates strengthen their applications with CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications, both widely recognized by Missouri employers. Technical bootcamps and community college programs offered through institutions like St. Louis Community College and Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City also provide recognized pathways into the field.
Which companies hire support engineers in Missouri?

Kansas City leads because of its large financial services technology and healthcare IT sectors, while St. Louis is anchored by enterprise software firms, managed service providers, and major employers like World Wide Technology and Emerson Electric, whose corporate and regional operations generate steady demand for infrastructure and application support roles.
