From there, advancement to the senior manager level comes through years of progressively complex tax work and demonstrated leadership of client engagements or internal tax teams.
How much do tax senior managers make in Virginia?

Which Virginia cities have the most tax senior manager jobs?
McLean, Arlington, and Richmond account for the largest share of tax senior manager openings in Virginia. Northern Virginia's density of federal contractors and professional services firms drives the bulk of demand, while Richmond's corporate headquarters and regional public accounting offices sustain steady hiring, and Hampton Roads adds openings tied to defense, logistics, and regional financial institutions.
