American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting within a Level I Trauma facility, requiring 1+ year of acute care experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting supporting multiple units within a Level I Trauma facility
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Some weekend shifts required
- Cerner charting system experience preferred
- No floating required unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Level I and Level II Trauma experience preferred
- Experience with orthopedic conditions including joint replacements, fractures, and spinal conditions preferred
- Experience with cardiopulmonary conditions such as COPD, CHF, and CABG preferred
- Experience with neurologic conditions including stroke rehabilitation and spinal cord injury preferred
- Proficiency with assistive devices, gait training, and patient transfer equipment
- Strong documentation skills including evaluations, plans of care, and reassessments
- References required for consideration

- Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and discharge coordination
- Focus on home exercise programs, patient and family education, and safety/injury prevention
- Located near prime Montana skiing and outdoor recreation in Big Sky/Yellowstone Country
