UX research intern roles in Maryland do not require a state-issued license or registration. Most employers expect active enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in human-computer interaction, cognitive science, information systems, or a related field. Building a portfolio with documented research projects, usability studies, or capstone work is the practical path Maryland hiring managers look for, alongside familiarity with standard research tools and methods.
Which companies hire ux research interns in Maryland?
Maryland ux research intern roles are posted by Peraton, Marriott International, and Vetegrity and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Maryland's concentration of federal contractors and anchor institutions in the Baltimore-Washington corridor makes it a consistent market for intern-level UX research openings across defense, health, and civic technology organizations.
Which Maryland cities have the most ux research intern jobs?
Annapolis Junction, Bethesda, and Annapolis account for the most ux research intern openings in Maryland. Baltimore draws postings from Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland Medical System, and civic tech employers, while the suburbs closer to Washington, including Bethesda and Rockville, reflect the density of federal contractors and consulting firms that house large product and design teams in Montgomery County.
