INTRODUCTION
Spreetail propels brands to increase their ecommerce market share across the globe while improving their operational costs. Learn how we are building one of the fastest-growing ecommerce companies in history.
Spreetail is looking for a driven and adaptable Area Manager to join our Away Team — a small, high-impact group designed to support facility launches, crisis response, and network-wide operations excellence. This is not a traditional site-based role. You will be embedded across our fulfillment center network, learning our operating model from the ground up and deploying where we need you most. When Spreetail opens a new fulfillment center, you will transition into permanent leadership there — equipped with the skills, relationships, and institutional knowledge to lead from day one.
This role is built for someone who thrives in change, learns fast, and wants a clear path to site ownership. If you’re looking for a predictable routine, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for accelerated growth and a front-row seat to how a network-scale fulfillment operation is built — this is your role.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
How will you achieve success:
- Embed in assigned fulfillment centers during your onboarding period, contributing to daily inbound and outbound operations while building deep fluency in Spreetail’s operating model.
- Deploy into focus or crisis facilities when the Away Team is activated, providing rapid operational support alongside teammates to stabilize performance and accelerate recovery.
- Hold regular 1:1s with Leads to maximize training opportunities, address concerns, and contribute to the growth and development of fulfillment center team members.
- Identify and drive process improvements that result in greater efficiency, accuracy, and safety across the sites you support.
- Champion a safety-first culture at every facility you support — quickly assess conditions in new environments, identify and address unsafe behaviors or hazards, and treat every near-miss as a learning opportunity.
- Travel to assigned or activated facilities a minimum of 25% of the time, with the expectation that travel may increase based on network needs and launch timing.
- Prepare to transition into a permanent Area Manager role at a new Spreetail fulfillment center — this placement is a core part of this role’s purpose and career trajectory.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What experiences will help you in this role:
- Attained 2–4 years of management or leadership experience.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments — you adapt quickly and find structure where others see chaos.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience in standard operating procedure documentation.
- A genuine commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to give and receive positive and negative feedback.
- Willingness and ability to travel a minimum of 25% of the time, with potential for more based on network needs.
- Openness to relocation when placed at a future Spreetail fulfillment center — placement timing is determined by Spreetail’s network expansion plans.
- Flexibility to work some weekends and extended hours during peak periods or facility activations.
In an effort to Make Spreetail Better, we hire people that are aligned with our values and are passionate about pursuing ecommerce excellence. We believe the right person can learn what is needed to succeed in their role, so we encourage job applicants to apply even if you don't meet all the qualifications listed. We are looking for diverse backgrounds and perspectives, so we don’t require college degrees and welcome non-linear career paths. If this role highlights your experience and gets you excited – please apply!

Which e-commerce companies in Georgia sponsor H-1B visas?
The Home Depot, headquartered in Atlanta, is one of Georgia's most consistent H-1B visa sponsors and maintains a large e-commerce and digital technology division. NCR Voyix, also Atlanta-based, sponsors H-1B workers across commerce platform and software roles. Retailers with significant Georgia operations, including UPS-adjacent logistics technology firms and fintech-adjacent online marketplace companies, also appear regularly in Department of Labor LCA disclosure data.
Which cities in Georgia have the most e-commerce H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of e-commerce H-1B sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, technology offices, and logistics operations. Alpharetta and Dunwoody, both suburbs within the Atlanta metro, also host technology and e-commerce company offices that file H-1B petitions. Outside the metro, e-commerce sponsorship activity drops sharply, making Atlanta the practical focus for H-1B job seekers in this industry.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship in Georgia?
Roles that typically qualify require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field directly related to the position. In Georgia's e-commerce sector, this includes software engineers, data scientists, product managers, UX researchers, digital marketing analysts with quantitative backgrounds, and supply chain technology specialists. Generalist business roles or positions where any degree field is acceptable are less likely to meet the H-1B specialty occupation standard, regardless of employer size.
How do I find e-commerce H-1B sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship type and industry, making it straightforward to search for e-commerce H-1B jobs in Georgia without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. Because H-1B sponsorship willingness isn't always stated in standard job postings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that cross-references employer sponsorship history saves significant time, particularly for roles in the Atlanta metro where competition is high.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for H-1B sponsorship in e-commerce?
Georgia doesn't impose state-level visa restrictions, but e-commerce employers in Atlanta often hire against a competitive national and international talent pool, which affects how quickly roles fill and how selective sponsoring employers tend to be. Georgia's large logistics and fulfillment infrastructure also means some e-commerce H-1B filings are for supply chain technology or operations roles that straddle warehouse management systems and software, so degree-to-role alignment is worth verifying carefully before applying.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B e-commerce jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
