Which artificial intelligence companies sponsor H-1B visas in Georgia?
Several large Georgia-based employers have consistent H-1B sponsorship records in artificial intelligence, including Delta Air Lines, NCR Voyix, Cox Enterprises, and Fiserv. Major tech companies with Georgia offices, such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon Web Services, also file H-1B petitions for AI roles in the state. DOL Labor Condition Application disclosure data shows these employers regularly sponsor machine learning and AI engineering positions.
Which cities in Georgia have the most artificial intelligence H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of artificial intelligence H-1B sponsorship jobs in Georgia. Midtown Atlanta, anchored by Georgia Tech and a concentration of technology firms, sees particularly high demand. Alpharetta and Dunwoody, both part of the broader Atlanta metro, have significant employer presence in fintech and enterprise software, generating AI roles that commonly require H-1B sponsorship.
What types of artificial intelligence roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
Roles that consistently qualify include machine learning engineer, data scientist, natural language processing engineer, computer vision engineer, and AI research scientist. These positions require at minimum a bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a closely related field, satisfying the H-1B specialty occupation standard. Roles requiring only general analytical skills without a field-specific degree requirement may face greater scrutiny during the petition process.
How do I find artificial intelligence H-1B sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, allowing you to filter artificial intelligence jobs by H-1B sponsorship and by state, including Georgia. Because sponsorship status is surfaced directly on listings, you avoid spending time on roles that won't support a visa petition. Employers listed on Migrate Mate with Georgia-based AI openings have a documented history of filing H-1B petitions, making your search more targeted from the start.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for H-1B sponsorship in artificial intelligence?
Georgia does not impose state-level restrictions on H-1B employment, so federal rules govern entirely. One practical factor is Georgia Tech's influence: many Georgia employers actively recruit from its AI and machine learning graduate programs, meaning competition for sponsored roles can be high. Employers in Georgia's fintech corridor around Alpharetta may require AI candidates to meet additional compliance or security screening requirements depending on the role.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B artificial intelligence jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
