POSITION OVERVIEW
The Associate, Program Management will lead key programs across the Construction Business Group to improve ways of working across teams and execution of projects. This individual will facilitate key discussions across business teams to identify and implement solutions that will improve cost, schedule, and risk impacts in the long term of how projects are executed. This position will report to the Director, Program Management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage special projects from conception to execution, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion aligned with organizational goals
- Support the Lessons Learned program lead to improve cost and schedule impacts of common issues that arise in projects either through process changes, contract language, or other means. Prioritize focus areas based on trending issues across projects and cost avoidance. Own reporting of key metrics that reflect impact of changes made.
- Support Knowledge Management for the Project Management team, ensuring that SOPs are documented and shared consistently across Project Management resources and relevant stakeholders. This includes facilitating meetings aligned with the Knowledge Management program and curating topics.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, finance, or other relevant fields.
- 3+ years of experience in energy/utilities sector, project/management consulting, banking, regulatory field, or corporate strategy/development.
- Experience with change management and driving execution of internal initiatives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and drive solutions to complex problems.
- High degree of comfort with ambiguity; ability to effectively navigate uncertainty.
- Strong written and verbal communication with ability to succinctly communicate complex problems.
- Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information.
BASE PAY
$93,000.00 - $108,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
