About The Team
DoorDash Digital Ordering is DoorDash’s first software-as-a-service business unit – offering a suite of services across online ordering, branded mobile apps, loyalty solutions, and more that enable merchants (restaurants, grocers, retailers, etc.) to reach customers through their own first-party channels. The business is one of the fastest-growing segments within DoorDash, and yet is only scratching the surface of a generational opportunity to better serve hundreds of thousands of merchants across the Americas to help them grow their business and improve working lives in one of the country’s biggest industry sectors. As a Strategy & Operations leader in this space, the Senior Manager will have the opportunity to help define and lead key strategic bets and initiatives to grow the business. You will work on both nascent, 0->1 bets and opportunities to scale our impact nationwide. The ideal candidate for this role should be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to take ownership and create plans from scratch, and drive execution while obtaining cross-functional buy-in to achieve Digital Ordering’s strategic goals.

- Steer the Digital Ordering product roadmap informed by quantitative analysis and qualitative merchant feedback
- Develop and execute strategies related to how Digital Ordering fits into the broader industry landscape
- Execute product testing and roll-outs on the ground with merchant partners
- Collaborate with stakeholders across DoorDash to align company-wide resources to refine platform capabilities
- Analyze complex data sets paired with partner team feedback to provide insights and recommendations to our leadership
- Manage a team of strategy & operations colleagues
We’re Excited About You Because…
- You are a strong strategic thinker and have great intuitive product sense
- You are a builder at heart, and have already adopted AI tools beyond ChatGPT to meaningfully improve how you work
- You have experience in a complex or high-growth environment (high-growth SaaS experience is nice-to-have, but not required)
- You have taken something from 0>1 (former founders welcome) and operate comfortably in ambiguous environments
- You imagine, develop, and execute on workstreams from start to completion with little oversight
- You oscillate easily from strategic considerations to tactical execution
- You are a self-starter who is energized by a difficult problem
- You collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members across the organization
- You represent the DoorDash brand with humility and a customer-first mindset
- 7+ years of relevant experience

Which e-commerce companies in Illinois have sponsored H-1B1 Chile visas?
Illinois-based e-commerce employers with documented H-1B1 visa sponsorship activity include Groupon, Grainger, Bounteous, and Orbitz (now part of Expedia Group's Chicago office). Larger logistics-adjacent platforms such as Echo Global Logistics also hire for technical roles. Sponsorship history varies by year and role type, so reviewing DOL Labor Condition Application disclosure data through the OFLC Wage Search tool gives the most current picture of which specific employers have filed.
Which Illinois cities have the most e-commerce H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Chicago accounts for the vast majority of e-commerce H-1B1 Chile sponsorship activity in Illinois, particularly in the River North, West Loop, and Fulton Market tech corridors. Schaumburg and Naperville in the Chicago suburbs host regional offices for e-commerce and retail-tech firms. Smaller clusters exist in Evanston near Northwestern University. Outside the Chicago metro, H-1B1 Chile-sponsored e-commerce roles are uncommon.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in Illinois?
Roles that regularly qualify include software engineer, front-end and back-end developer, data analyst, product manager, UX designer, and digital marketing analyst. Each must require at least a U.S. bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a specifically related field to meet the specialty occupation standard. Generalist roles or positions where a degree in any field satisfies the requirement are less likely to qualify. Reviewing O*NET occupation profiles helps confirm whether a specific title meets the specialty occupation criteria.
How do I find e-commerce H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Illinois?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type and state, making it straightforward to search for e-commerce roles in Illinois where employers have H-1B1 Chile sponsorship history. Unlike general job boards, Migrate Mate surfaces DOL Labor Condition Application filing data so you can see which Illinois e-commerce companies have actually sponsored the H-1B1 Chile visa before you apply, saving time on outreach to employers unfamiliar with this visa category.
Are there any Illinois-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in e-commerce?
Illinois has no state-level visa sponsorship registry or additional filing requirement, but employers must post the certified Labor Condition Application at the worksite or on an internal electronic system accessible to employees, which applies to all Illinois office locations. Chicago's dense concentration of mid-size e-commerce and retail-tech firms means some sponsors are smaller companies less familiar with the H-1B visa1 Chile specifically, as opposed to the broader H-1B, so confirming a company's prior H-1B1 Chile filing history through OFLC Wage Search data is worthwhile before applying.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile e-commerce jobs in Illinois?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
