Which e-commerce companies in Massachusetts sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas?
Boston-area e-commerce and digital commerce employers with documented Labor Condition Application filing histories include Wayfair, TripAdvisor, HubSpot, and Chewy. Marketplace technology and retail tech firms concentrated along the Route 128 technology corridor also appear in OFLC disclosure data. Filing history varies by year and role, so reviewing current LCA records is the most reliable way to identify active sponsors.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most e-commerce H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Boston and Cambridge account for the largest share of Massachusetts e-commerce sponsorship activity, driven by the concentration of technology and digital retail employers in those metros. Waltham and Burlington, both along the Route 128 corridor, also host e-commerce and marketplace technology firms with recorded LCA filings. Smaller clusters exist in Worcester and Springfield, though sponsorship activity there is less consistent.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Roles that typically meet the specialty occupation standard include software engineers building commerce platforms, data scientists analyzing purchase and conversion data, UX researchers, digital marketing managers with quantitative specializations, and supply chain analysts. Positions must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Generalist roles or those where any degree field qualifies are less likely to meet H-1B1 Chile specialty occupation requirements.
How do I find e-commerce H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by visa type, industry, and state, so you can search specifically for Massachusetts e-commerce roles where employers have H-1B1 Chile LCA filing history. This removes the guesswork of cold-applying to companies that have never sponsored the visa. You can also use Migrate Mate to review employer-level LCA data before applying, which helps you prioritize outreach to companies already familiar with H-1B1 Chile requirements.
Are there any state-specific or industry-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in Massachusetts e-commerce?
Massachusetts does not impose additional state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal obligations, but employers must still file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and comply with prevailing wage rules under OFLC standards. In the e-commerce sector, roles tied to Massachusetts-based fulfillment or logistics operations may have different prevailing wage levels than purely technical roles. Chilean nationals should also confirm their passport and Chilean citizenship status, as H-1B1 visa is exclusively available to Chilean citizens under the U.S.-Chile Free Trade Agreement.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile e-commerce jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
