Search Consulting Jobs in KansasConsulting E-3 Sponsorship Jobs in Kansas: Frequently Asked Questions
Which consulting companies sponsor E-3 visas in Kansas?
The Big Four accounting and consulting firms, including Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, and EY, have a presence in Kansas City, Kansas and are among the more established E-3 sponsors in the region. Mid-size technology consultancies and management consulting firms serving the aerospace and energy sectors in Wichita also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data as E-3 sponsors, though sponsorship decisions are made case by case.
Which cities in Kansas have the most consulting E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Kansas City is the primary hub for consulting E-3 sponsorship jobs in Kansas, with the largest concentration of professional services firms and corporate clients. Wichita is a secondary market, particularly for consultants serving the aerospace and manufacturing industries. Overland Park, a Kansas City suburb, also hosts a number of consulting and professional services offices with hiring activity.
What types of consulting roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship applies to specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field directly related to the role. In consulting, this includes management consultants, technology consultants, financial advisory analysts, IT strategy consultants, and business process consultants. Generalist roles where any degree field is acceptable are less likely to meet the specialty occupation standard, so the degree-to-role alignment matters.
How do I find consulting E-3 sponsorship jobs in Kansas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters consulting roles in Kansas that offer E-3 visa sponsorship, saving you from manually sorting through postings that don't apply to your situation. Because E-3 eligibility depends on both the role and the employer's willingness to sponsor, using a platform focused on verified sponsorship opportunities is more efficient than general job searching.
Are there any Kansas-specific considerations for consulting E-3 sponsorship?
Kansas sits in a mid-size Midwestern market, so sponsorship volumes are lower than coastal hubs, but competition for E-3 roles is also less intense. Many consulting positions tied to Kansas City straddle the Kansas-Missouri border, so it's worth clarifying which legal entity and state your role falls under, as this affects Labor Condition Application filings. Firms serving aerospace clients in Wichita may also require security clearance eligibility, which is worth confirming before applying.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 consulting jobs in Kansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
