Which distribution and wholesale companies sponsor Green Card visas in Massachusetts?
Cardinal Health, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Sysco, W.W. Grainger, and McKesson have all filed Labor Condition Applications and PERM applications for distribution and wholesale roles in Massachusetts. Medical and scientific supply distributors tend to sponsor at higher rates than general merchandise wholesalers, reflecting the concentration of life sciences employers in the state. Sponsorship availability varies by role, location, and the employer's internal immigration policy.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most distribution and wholesale Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Greater Boston and its suburbs, including Woburn, Waltham, and Canton, have the highest concentration of sponsored distribution and wholesale roles, driven largely by the life sciences and medical supply sectors. Worcester is a secondary hub with food distribution and industrial wholesale operations. Springfield and New Bedford also have active distribution activity, particularly in consumer goods and regional logistics, though sponsorship is less common outside the Boston metro area.
What types of distribution and wholesale roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Massachusetts?
Roles that most consistently attract Green Card sponsorship include supply chain analysts, logistics operations managers, inventory control specialists, procurement managers, and distribution center operations leaders. Positions requiring specialized technical knowledge, such as cold chain logistics for pharmaceutical distributors or hazardous materials compliance, are more likely to be sponsored than general warehouse or entry-level roles. A bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field strengthens eligibility for most sponsored positions.
How do I find distribution and wholesale Green Card sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship type, so you can search for distribution and wholesale positions in Massachusetts where employers have indicated Green Card sponsorship. This saves significant time compared to reviewing general job postings that rarely specify sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate also surfaces employers with a documented history of filing PERM applications in Massachusetts, giving you a more targeted starting point for your search.
Are there any state-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in Massachusetts distribution and wholesale jobs?
Massachusetts has a high cost of living relative to national averages, which influences the prevailing wage determinations that employers must meet under PERM labor certification requirements. The state's strong life sciences and healthcare distribution sectors mean many sponsored roles are tied to specialized supply chains rather than general merchandising. Massachusetts employers in regulated industries, such as pharmaceutical distribution, may also require DEA registration compliance or cold chain certification, which can affect both the role's complexity and its sponsorship eligibility.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card distribution & wholesale jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
