Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Corporate Development and Enablement will serve as a key strategic and operational partner to the President, driving high-priority initiatives across corporate development, partnerships, investor/board communications, operations, and market-informed product strategy. Operating at the center of the organization, this individual will work cross-functionally with scientific and business leaders to translate complex technical and market insights into clear strategies and actionable plans. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, brings a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving, and is equally comfortable shaping strategy and executing against it in a fast-paced, early-stage biotechnology environment.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the president, the successful candidate will lead creation of external/internal company presentations/reports, including board material, pitches and other critical documents
- Convene the weekly company leadership team meeting, managing the agenda and key action items that emerge from the discussion
- Coordinate our major external partnership, ensuring our timelines/budget remain on track, aligning stakeholders, and preparing key update materials
- Support establishment of key vendor relationships, shepherding SOWs, MSAs, and other legal agreements through our approval processes, then tracking deliverables
- Ensure our lab operations and lab space are meeting the company needs; Driving real estate and equipment sourcing strategies
- Conduct market research with relevant customers, building out product strategies
- Support broader strategic decision making, such as corporate/partnership strategies
Qualifications
- At least 2 years working in a strategy or strategic-consulting role, ideally with R&D experience; PhD in a technical field is beneficial but not required
- Deep knowledge and understanding of life sciences. Proficient in distilling key insights from across multiple scientific sources and driving towards conclusions
- Preference for candidates with proven experience in product strategy, market research, or R&D strategy preferred

The salary range for this role is $139,000 - $176,000. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. FL116 currently offers healthcare coverage, annual incentive program, retirement benefits and a broad range of other benefits. Compensation and benefits information is based on FL116's good faith estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future.
