Position Overview
Join our manufacturing team as a Senior Manufacturing Technician to build, test, troubleshoot, and support Entrust Datacard products. This is a 1st shift position, working Monday through Friday typically 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with at least 4 hours working on Friday. There is possible flexibility on work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Build, test and troubleshoot products in order to ship highest quality products per customer requirements
- Complete mechanical and electrical assembly, test and troubleshooting tasks as needed
- Provide feedback on quality directly to assemblers, leaders and engineering as appropriate
- Identify and implement process improvements that will reduce cost and improve quality
- Ensure final products meet order specifications
- May perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration of product and equipment
- Demonstrate awareness of and comply with all Quality policies while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement
- Understand and perform processes for manufacturing of product within work areas to achieve the required quality level
- Ensure quality requirements are all met and ISO 9001 standards are followed, which may include conducting training in the work area
- Train new hires on policies and procedures, safety policies, and work practices
- Follow safety policies and promote safe work practices
- Maintain cleanliness of the workplace and compliance towards ISO 14001 Environmental standards
- Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Associates degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, automated systems/robotics or related field or equivalent verifiable training (e.g., military training in relevant field)
- 8+ years of experience assembling and testing electro-mechanical equipment
- High level of mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work from and follow work instructions and engineering drawings
- Able to work in a sitting or standing position for extended time periods and able to lift and install mechanical assemblies that may weigh up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to learn new things quickly, work as part of a team, and exhibit a high level of initiative
- Ability to recognize what needs to be done and will work with the team and manufacturing leadership to accomplish necessary tasks
- Committed to continuous improvement
- Strong computer skills
- Previous experience with industrial automation equipment or specialized machines
- Experience working in a large capital custom machine building environment

Compensation Range
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $27.92-$40.94 per hour (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
