The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a Retail Merchandising and Social Media Intern to join our team in supporting the Minnesota Twins Retail at Target Field in Minneapolis.
This role offers hands-on experience in social media, retail marketing, and merchandising within a professional sports environment. Intern will support content creation, retail operations, visual merchandising, and live-event execution that contribute to retail sales, brand visibility, and promotional initiatives.

What will you do?
- Manage and assist with content publishing across multiple social media platforms.
- Create engaging photo and video content highlighting MN Twins Retail products, promotions, and in-store experiences.
- Support visual merchandising initiatives by assisting with product launches, displays, and in-store presentations.
- Assist with monitoring store inventory, and help replace or rotate merchandise as needed.
- Help grow online presence of Twins Retail in both followers and engagement.
- Collaborate with retail and marketing teams to support game-day and non-game-day initiatives.
- Adhere to Delaware North and the Minnesota Twins social media policies and brand guidelines.
- Complete additional retail, merchandising, or marketing tasks as needed.
- Interest in sports, fashion, marketing, and digital content creation.
- Basic understanding of social media trends and analytics.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar creative tools.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook).

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in retail, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and take on different responsibilities in a fast-paced, live-event environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and game days.
