Job Title: Vehicle Delivery Driver / Final Preparation Specialist
Job Summary
The Vehicle Delivery Driver / Final Preparation Specialist is responsible for safely transporting company vehicles to and from customer locations, assisting with vehicle movement within the facility, and ensuring vans are cleaned, inspected, and professionally presented before being returned to customers. This position plays an important role in providing a high-quality customer experience by making sure every vehicle leaves the facility in excellent condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and other fleet vehicles, to customer locations, vendors, and company facilities.
- Perform vehicle pick-up and delivery services while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Conduct final cleaning and preparation of vans after service, repairs, or upfit work is completed.
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including vacuuming, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows, removing debris, and ensuring a customer-ready appearance.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, damage, missing items, or quality concerns prior to customer delivery.
- Verify that all personal items, paperwork, and equipment are properly placed or removed before delivery.
- Assist service and production teams with moving vehicles throughout the facility and staging completed units.
- Follow all safety procedures when operating vehicles and working around the shop environment.
- Maintain accurate vehicle delivery records, mileage logs, and required documentation.
- Communicate any vehicle issues or customer concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle preparation area and cleaning supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to safely operate various types of vans and commercial vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
