Which cities in New Jersey have the most medical devices F-1 CPT sponsorship jobs?
Franklin Lakes, Raritan, Plainsboro, and Parsippany are the most active clusters for medical devices F-1 CPT roles, reflecting where major manufacturers maintain headquarters and R&D facilities. What types of medical devices roles typically qualify for F-1 CPT sponsorship?
Roles that align directly with STEM degree programs see the most CPT use in New Jersey's medical devices industry. Common qualifying positions include biomedical engineering intern, quality assurance analyst, regulatory affairs associate, R&D engineer, manufacturing process engineer, and clinical data analyst. The key requirement is that the work must be an integral part of your academic curriculum and receive authorization from your Designated School Official before you begin.

Are there state-specific or industry-specific considerations for F-1 CPT in New Jersey's medical devices sector?
New Jersey's medical devices industry is heavily regulated at the federal level by the FDA, meaning many roles involve compliance, documentation, and quality systems work that companies take seriously before extending offers to CPT students.
