ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2025 after spending time in another State Farm office, driven by the goal of building my own agency and continuing my family’s legacy as a second-generation State Farm agent. I studied science before shifting my path toward investing, and ultimately insurance, and I’m a proud graduate of The Ohio State University. Outside of work, I’m a dad to twin daughters, and I love food - trying new restaurants, supporting small local spots, and traveling whenever I can.
Our team currently includes two team members, and we’re excited to grow as we build a strong, motivated office together. We offer perks such as travel incentives, a 401k, work–life balance, and reimbursed licensing costs.
Our office culture is fast-paced, competitive, and packed with energy—in the best way. We celebrate every win, joke around, and keep things laid back while still working hard and having fun doing it. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, and we want people who are excited to be part of that environment.
If you’re looking for a place where you can grow, feel connected, and make an impact, this could be the right fit for you.

Which insurance companies in Ohio are known to sponsor F-1 CPT students?
Ohio-based insurers like Nationwide, Progressive, and Motorists Insurance Group have historically brought on students in actuarial, data analytics, and underwriting support roles through internship and co-op programs that are commonly CPT-eligible. Regional carriers and large brokerages operating in Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati also participate in university partnership programs that facilitate CPT placements, though sponsorship availability varies by department and hiring cycle.
Which cities in Ohio have the most insurance F-1 CPT sponsorship jobs?
Columbus is the primary hub, home to Nationwide's headquarters and a dense concentration of insurance carriers and brokerages. Cleveland follows closely, with a strong presence of commercial insurance and risk management firms. Cincinnati also offers meaningful opportunities, particularly with companies serving the Midwest regional market. Students at universities near these cities often have the easiest access to CPT-eligible internship programs with local employers.
What types of insurance roles typically qualify for F-1 CPT sponsorship in Ohio?
Roles that align closely with degree programs in actuarial science, finance, mathematics, data science, or risk management are the most common CPT matches. Actuarial intern, underwriting analyst, data analytics associate, and claims operations roles frequently appear as CPT-eligible positions. The role must be directly tied to your field of study as defined by your university's DSO, so confirming that connection before applying is important.
How do I find insurance F-1 CPT sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate is specifically built for international students and filters jobs by visa type, including F-1 CPT, and by industry, so you can search directly for insurance roles in Ohio without sifting through listings that don't sponsor. Beyond Migrate Mate, your university's career center and DSO are key resources since CPT must be authorized through your school, and some Ohio universities maintain direct relationships with insurance employers in Columbus and Cleveland.
Are there any Ohio-specific or insurance-specific considerations for F-1 CPT sponsorship?
Ohio's insurance sector is heavily regulated at the state level, which means some compliance and licensing roles may have restrictions on who can perform certain functions, regardless of visa status. CPT authorization also requires that the internship is an integral or required part of your curriculum, so students should coordinate early with their DSO to confirm eligibility. Roles at insurance holding companies versus licensed carriers can differ in their CPT compatibility depending on the work performed.
