Which government companies sponsor visas in Pennsylvania?
Major government employers sponsoring visas in Pennsylvania include the City of Philadelphia, Allegheny County Health Department, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and the Commonwealth's various state agencies. Federal agencies with significant Pennsylvania presence, such as the Department of Veterans Affairs and Social Security Administration, also sponsor H-1B and other work visas for specialized positions like data scientists, epidemiologists, and policy analysts.
How to find government visa sponsorship jobs in Pennsylvania?
Use Migrate Mate to search specifically for government positions in Pennsylvania that offer visa sponsorship. The platform filters jobs by industry and state, showing only employers with proven H-1B sponsorship history. Pennsylvania government agencies typically post positions through both state portals and specialized platforms, making targeted searches essential for finding legitimate sponsorship opportunities in cities like Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Harrisburg.
Which visa types are most common for government roles in Pennsylvania?
H-1B visas dominate Pennsylvania government sponsorship, particularly for specialized roles in public health, urban planning, and data analysis. O-1 visas are occasionally used for exceptional researchers at agencies like the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. TN visas serve Canadian and Mexican professionals in engineering and scientific positions within state transportation and environmental departments.
