Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
Position ranges from Maintenance Generalist 01 to Maintenance Generalist 08. Hourly rates range from $24.55 to $35.10. Position requires overtime and weekends. Salary offer is based on individual knowledge and experience.

Position Summary:
Position is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs
- Perform emergency mechanical or electrical repairs
- Perform preventing maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipment
- Minimize downtime due to equipment failure
- Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift
- Handle all mechanical problems that may arise in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure work area is clean at all time
- Record keeping and attention to detail
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 20 pounds repeatedly during shift
- Ability to push, pull and lift 75 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day
- Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging from -20 to 100 degrees
- Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping
- Frequent overhead work
- Basic Math skills: percentages, fractions, and measurements
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends
- Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of mechanic work experience or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program
- Basic Electrical experience preferred
