Search Retail Jobs in TexasRetail H-1B1 Chile Sponsorship Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
Which retail companies in Texas sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas?
Large-format retailers and e-commerce operators with significant Texas footprints are among the most active H-1B1 Chile sponsors in retail. Companies such as Walmart, Target, Amazon, and Home Depot have filed Labor Condition Applications for specialty occupation roles in Texas. Department store chains, luxury retailers, and retail technology divisions of national brands also appear in DOL disclosure data for H-1B1 Chile filings.
Which Texas cities have the most retail H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads Texas for retail H-1B1 Chile sponsorship activity, driven by corporate headquarters, regional offices, and major distribution centers. Houston follows closely given its size and retail density. Austin has grown significantly as retail technology and e-commerce companies expand there. San Antonio also sees sponsorship activity from national chains with large store networks across the metro area.
What retail roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in Texas?
H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in retail applies to specialty occupation positions requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Qualifying roles commonly include merchandise planning analysts, retail data scientists, supply chain analysts, e-commerce product managers, buyer and category management specialists, and retail technology engineers. General sales associate or store management roles without a specific degree requirement typically do not qualify under the specialty occupation standard.
How do I find retail H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by visa type, including H-1B1 Chile, by industry such as retail, and by Texas as your target state. Migrate Mate surfaces employers with verified DOL Labor Condition Application filing histories, so you can see which retail companies have actively sponsored H-1B1 Chile positions rather than relying on employers who may be unfamiliar with the visa category.
Are there Texas-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile retail sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects how employers structure compensation packages, but it does not change federal H-1B1 Chile prevailing wage requirements. Texas's large retail market and concentration of distribution infrastructure mean more employers are experienced with specialty occupation sponsorship than in smaller states. However, roles must still meet the specialty occupation standard regardless of Texas labor market conditions, and employers must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before the visa application proceeds.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile retail jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
