Which staffing companies sponsor F-1 OPT visas in Wisconsin?
ManpowerGroup, headquartered in Milwaukee, is one of the most prominent staffing firms in Wisconsin with a track record of hiring international talent. Other national staffing companies with Wisconsin operations, including Adecco, Kelly Services, and Robert Half, have also hired F-1 OPT workers in recruiting and workforce coordination roles. Regional agencies serving manufacturing and healthcare sectors in the Fox Valley and Madison areas represent additional opportunities worth exploring.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most staffing F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee has the highest concentration of staffing F-1 OPT jobs in Wisconsin, driven by ManpowerGroup's global headquarters and a dense cluster of corporate clients needing workforce solutions. Madison follows closely, particularly for staffing roles tied to healthcare and university-adjacent employers. Green Bay and the Fox Valley corridor also generate demand, especially for staffing coordinators supporting manufacturing and logistics clients in the region.
What types of staffing roles typically qualify for F-1 OPT sponsorship?
Roles that most commonly qualify include talent acquisition coordinator, recruiter, workforce solutions specialist, HR generalist, and sourcing analyst. These positions generally require a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, communications, or a related field, which satisfies the specialty occupation standard relevant to many OPT placements. Operational and back-office roles within staffing firms, such as data analyst or business development associate, also frequently appear as OPT-eligible positions in Wisconsin.
How do I find staffing F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for F-1 OPT job seekers and filters staffing positions in Wisconsin by visa sponsorship eligibility, saving you from manually sorting through listings that don't apply to your status. You can filter by the staffing and recruiting industry and narrow results to Wisconsin-based employers. Because OPT timelines are tight, using a targeted platform like Migrate Mate helps you focus your applications on employers already familiar with F-1 sponsorship requirements.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for F-1 OPT sponsorship in staffing?
Wisconsin's staffing industry is heavily tied to manufacturing, healthcare, and agriculture, so F-1 OPT candidates with academic backgrounds relevant to those sectors, such as supply chain, life sciences, or business operations, tend to be more competitive. STEM OPT extension eligibility depends on your degree field, not the staffing role itself, so confirm your major qualifies before assuming a 24-month extension applies. Employers in smaller Wisconsin markets may have less prior experience with OPT paperwork, so being prepared to explain the process can be an advantage.
