We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to lead and oversee our field and warehouse operations. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our field teams while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills with experience managing field operations, inventory, equipment and team performance. A strong understanding of or genuine interest in the chimney and fireplace industry is highly valued.
Main Duties
- Lead, supervise and support field technicians responsible for masonry repairs, chimney restoration, fireplace maintenance and fireplace installations across multiple locations.
- Receive, organize and distribute materials and equipment.
- Monitor job progress, productivity and completion quality.
- Conduct job site visits for training purposes and quality control.
- Coordinate and facilitate building and gas inspections according to each county's requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and identify replenishment needs.
- Track tools, equipment, materials and company vehicles.
- Supervise crew management activities such as scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with management and office staff to ensure smooth communication between the field, warehouse, and office
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met on time and within budget.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment maintenance, safety inspections and project progress.
- Promote a positive team environment focused on leadership development, quality workmanship and continuous improvement.
- Help establish and maintain efficient operating procedures.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.
- Participate in ongoing training and industry education to stay current with evolving technologies, safety standards, codes and best practices.
