Kent Quality Foods is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at our Hudsonville, MI location. In this role, you'll guide the warehouse team, keep materials moving between manufacturing areas, maintain accurate inventory, and improve safety and efficiency. This opportunity is a good fit for a practical, team-oriented leader who enjoys working alongside employees while overseeing shipping, receiving, inventory, and production support.

This second-shift position is scheduled Monday through Friday. Shifts begin at 2:00 pm and typically last 8–10 hours. Occasional Saturday or adjusted hours may be needed to support production, shipping, cycle counts, or other business needs.

What you'll do:

• Lead, support, train, and coach warehouse team members in daily operations.
• Promote a safe warehouse by reinforcing safe work practices, completing and documenting equipment inspections, reporting maintenance needs, and following OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, material transfers, carrier scheduling, and internal transportation resources.
• Maintain accurate inventory by completing ERP transactions, cycle counts, and audits; following FIFO practices; investigating discrepancies; implementing corrective actions; and supporting month-end and year-end inventory activities.
• Stage and expedite materials to support production schedules, minimize downtime, and ensure material availability.
• Monitor warehouse performance measures, including inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Support warehouse process improvements, standard operating procedures, 5S organization, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activities.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Complete daily end-of-shift checklists and communicate open issues, priorities, and follow-up needs.

Qualified candidates will bring:

• Knowledge of safe warehouse practices and commitment to follow OSHA and company safety requirements.
• 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, materials, inventory control, or manufacturing experience.
• 1-3 years of experience leading, training, coaching, or supervising warehouse employees in a manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or materials environment is preferred.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, and accurate warehouse transactions.
• Experience using ERP systems, warehouse management software, barcode scanners, or RF devices.
• Forklift or reach truck certification and safe equipment operation experience.
• Experience with lot tracking, serial number tracking, traceability requirements, raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, dependability, integrity, and follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.

The starting pay rate is $24.00 per hour plus a $3 per hour shift premium for working off shift. Employees are also eligible for an attendance bonus valued at $1 per hour if eligible and profit sharing.
