Account Based Marketing Specialist Jobs in Washington: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a account based marketing specialist in Washington?
Washington employers typically require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or communications as the foundation for this role. There is no state-issued license or registration required to work as an account based marketing specialist in Washington. Most candidates build toward the role by gaining hands-on experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or field marketing, then developing platform-specific skills in tools like Demandbase or 6sense. Certifications from those platforms or from the Marketing Operations community can strengthen a Washington application considerably.
Which companies hire account based marketing specialists in Washington?
Washington account based marketing specialist roles are posted by Amazon Web Services, Truveta, and Smartsheet and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Washington's density of enterprise technology headquarters and regional cloud-sector offices means large B2B organizations consistently maintain dedicated ABM functions here.
Which Washington cities have the most account based marketing specialist jobs?
Seattle and Bellevue are the cities with the most account based marketing specialist openings in Washington. Seattle and Bellevue drive the largest share of listings because of their concentration of enterprise software and cloud companies, while Redmond anchors significant ABM hiring through Microsoft's global commercial marketing teams and its partner ecosystem.
Are there remote account based marketing specialist jobs in Washington?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 50% of account based marketing specialist openings tied to Washington are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how thoroughly the role's core work, campaign strategy, digital execution, and data analysis, translates to distributed environments. Campaign planning and intent data analysis are the most commonly remote functions, while account-specific field events or sales alignment meetings occasionally require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a account based marketing specialist in Washington with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a demand generation coordinator or digital marketing associate role at one of Washington's many enterprise software or cloud companies, then building toward ABM responsibilities over time. Large Bellevue and Seattle-area technology employers regularly hire marketing coordinators and campaign specialists into programs that rotate through ABM functions. Earning a certification from a platform like Demandbase or completing a marketing automation credential helps candidates stand out when competing against more experienced applicants for Washington openings.
Where can I find and apply to account based marketing specialist jobs in Washington?
