American Rock and Rent is a growing landscape maintenance and install company dedicated to providing exceptional service, quality workmanship, and long-term client partnerships. We are seeking a hands-on Landscape Account Manager who is passionate about customer service, team collaboration, and delivering high-quality landscapes.

Position Summary

The Landscape Account Manager is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service quality, and supporting field operations across a portfolio of commercial properties.

This is a field-focused position, with approximately 70% of time spent in the field and 30% in the office. The ideal candidate enjoys being outdoors, working alongside crews when needed, inspecting properties, meeting with clients, and helping solve problems in real time.

We are looking for someone who leads by example, takes pride in quality work, and is willing to roll up their sleeves and support the team whenever necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Communication & Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned landscape accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, HOAs, and commercial and residential clients.
• Conduct regular property walks and client meetings.
• Proactively communicate service updates, recommendations, and project status.
• Address client concerns promptly and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention.

Quality Control & Property Inspections

• Perform routine quality inspections of assigned properties.
• Identify deficiencies and work with field teams to implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
• Monitor landscape health, irrigation performance, safety concerns, and overall site appearance.
• Document property conditions and follow through on action items.

Field Leadership & Team Support

• Work closely with Operations Managers and field crews.
• Support crews in the field when additional assistance is needed.
• Assist with training, coaching, and reinforcing company standards.
• Lead by example through a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Be willing to get dirty and work alongside the team to ensure successful outcomes!

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate account records, inspection reports, and client communications.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating enhancement work.
• Prepare proposals and recommendations for landscape improvements.
• Participate in team meetings and planning sessions.
• Monitor account performance and ensure service commitments are met.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of experience in commercial landscape maintenance, account management, field operations, or a related industry.
• Knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, turf management, and plant health.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience leading crews or coordinating field operations.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile technology.
