Duties
- Record transactions, prepare journal entries, and maintain general ledger accounting using accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online and Service Titan
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll; complete bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Review debits and credits, perform account analysis, support budgeting, and prepare spreadsheets and financial reports.
- Organize administrative records, manage routine correspondence, and assist with document preparation and data entry, including 10-key typing.
- Apply relevant accounting standards and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP); support tax-related tasks and corporate, nonprofit, governmental, or public accounting needs as applicable.
Qualifications
- Bookkeeper experience or accounting and finance experience, with practical knowledge of bookkeeping, double-entry bookkeeping, accounting, and financial concepts.
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial software; experience with QuickBooks Online is a must. Knowledge of Service Titan is also valued.
- Understanding of payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and account and bank reconciliation.
- Knowledge of GAAP, accounting standards, and technical accounting is helpful; tax experience or corporate, nonprofit, governmental, or public accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, spreadsheet skills, and accurate 10-key typing.
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
