Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (Primary Focus):
- Receive and post daily customer payments, including checks, ACH payments, credit card payments, and payments for web orders.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and short-paid invoices by phone and email to resolve outstanding issues.
- Send past-due invoices and statements to customers to request payment.
Accounts Payable Cross-Training (Secondary Focus):
- Review and enter vendor invoices, matching them against purchase orders and receipts.
- Assist with basic vendor inquiries regarding payment status or discrepancies.
Administrative Support:
- Assist the Accounting Manager with basic administrative tasks as needed.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- 1+ years accounting experience; accounts receivable experience required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, with the ability to follow through on assigned tasks and payment follow-ups.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills when working with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English .
- Willingness to cross-train in accounts payable and assist with basic administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus
