Advertising Jobs in Arizona: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a advertising in Arizona?
Advertising is not a state-licensed profession in Arizona, so no state board exam or registration is required. Most Arizona employers expect at minimum a bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or communications. Building a portfolio of campaign work, whether from internships, freelance projects, or coursework, is the practical entry credential that Arizona hiring managers look for before a formal interview.
Which companies hire advertisings in Arizona?
Companies currently hiring advertisings in Arizona include Best Version Media, Yelp, and Social Indoor, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Phoenix's concentration of financial services firms, healthcare systems, and technology companies means in-house advertising roles appear across a wide range of industries, not just at traditional agencies.
Which Arizona cities have the most advertising jobs?
Phoenix, Tucson, and Coolidge are the Arizona cities with the most advertising openings. Phoenix dominates because it is home to the state's largest corporate headquarters, regional offices, and advertising agencies, while Scottsdale's strong hospitality and luxury retail sector generates steady demand, and Tucson's University of Arizona ecosystem supports roles tied to higher education and nonprofit marketing.
Are there remote advertising jobs in Arizona?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 67% of advertising openings tied to Arizona are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the work, writing copy, managing campaigns, and analyzing data, happens entirely on a screen. Roles with heavy client-facing or production coordination responsibilities tend to require more in-office presence than purely digital or content-focused positions.
How can I get hired as a advertising in Arizona with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an internship or coordinator role at a Phoenix-area agency or an in-house marketing department. Large Arizona employers such as Banner Health and Arizona State University regularly bring on marketing coordinators and communications assistants who support advertising teams without requiring prior campaign experience. Building a portfolio through student projects, volunteer work for local nonprofits, or freelance social media management demonstrates initiative and gives hiring managers something concrete to evaluate.
Where can I find and apply to advertising jobs in Arizona?
You can find and apply to advertising jobs in Arizona on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to Arizona employers. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your background and preferences, and apply directly through each listing. No sign-up is needed to see the openings.
