Assistant Account Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a assistant account manager in Pennsylvania?
Most Pennsylvania employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications as the foundation for an assistant account manager role. No Pennsylvania state license or registration is required for the position itself. Candidates who build experience through internships at Philadelphia or Pittsburgh firms, earn a CRM certification, and develop familiarity with a specific industry vertical such as insurance or financial services are the most competitive in the Pennsylvania market.
Which companies hire assistant account managers in Pennsylvania?
Pennsylvania assistant account manager roles are posted by FedEx Freight, AmeriGas, and Sheridan and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Pennsylvania's concentration of insurance carriers, regional banks, and large healthcare organizations means consistent demand for account support talent across the state.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most assistant account manager jobs?
Erie, King, and York lead Pennsylvania for assistant account manager openings. Philadelphia dominates because of its dense concentration of financial services firms, insurance carriers, and large healthcare systems, while Pittsburgh's strength in technology, banking, and business services drives demand there, and smaller suburban markets like King of Prussia attract openings from corporate headquarters clustered along the Route 202 corridor.
Are there remote assistant account manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, and they are fairly common for a client-services role. About 100% of assistant account manager openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the desk-based and communication-driven nature of the work. Responsibilities such as reporting, CRM management, and internal coordination tend to be the most remote-friendly, while client onboarding and in-person relationship management typically remain on-site.
How can I get hired as a assistant account manager in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a client services coordinator or account services associate role at a Philadelphia or Pittsburgh insurance agency, regional bank, or marketing firm. Large Pennsylvania employers like Independence Blue Cross and Comcast run structured associate programs that bring in candidates with limited experience. A CRM certification, a strong internship at a Pennsylvania company, and lateral moves from customer success or administrative coordinator roles all give candidates a meaningful edge when applying.
Where can I find and apply to assistant account manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to assistant account manager jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings. Search the listings to find roles that match your background, industry preference, and location, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
