Assistant Account Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a assistant account manager in Florida?
Most Florida employers require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications as the foundation. No state-issued license is required for the generalist role, though assistant account managers working in Florida's insurance sector typically need a Florida 2-20 Customer Representative or 4-40 License issued by the Florida Department of Financial Services. Candidates without insurance backgrounds often move into the role from customer service, sales coordination, or marketing associate positions at Florida companies.
Which companies hire assistant account managers in Florida?
Employers hiring assistant account managers in Florida right now include 4M Building Solutions, Allied Universal, and Marsh, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's large insurance carriers, advertising agencies, and regional corporate headquarters in Miami and Tampa are consistently among the most active sources of these openings throughout the year.
Which Florida cities have the most assistant account manager jobs?
Gibsonton, West Palm Beach, and Dover account for the largest share of assistant account manager openings in Florida. Miami leads because of its dense concentration of insurance firms, international trade companies, and advertising agencies, while Tampa's growing financial services and healthcare sectors and Orlando's hospitality and tech corridors generate consistent demand that extends into surrounding suburban markets.
Are there remote assistant account manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most client-facing roles, because much of the work involves email, CRM management, and virtual meetings rather than on-site visits. About 33% of assistant account manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the desk-based nature of the position. Fully remote postings are most common in software, insurance, and digital marketing agency environments.
How can I get hired as a assistant account manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a customer service or sales support role at a Florida insurance agency, regional bank, or marketing firm, then moving laterally once you have demonstrated client-facing experience. Large Florida employers like AdventHealth and Publix run structured associate programs that place early-career candidates in account support functions. Earning a Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License through the Department of Financial Services gives candidates without experience a concrete, verifiable credential that insurance-sector employers prioritize heavily.
Where can I find and apply to assistant account manager jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to assistant account manager jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find roles that match your background and target location, and apply directly to the employers posting them.
