Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, motivated Assistant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bakery/manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Furthermore, attention to detail and overall quality control is key to the success of this position. As the AGM, you will be responsible for managing staff, training staff, driving sales, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a positive experience for all of our customers. Cinnamom is a multi-faceted business with an emphasis on drop shipping to residential customers, as well as shipping by the pallet and delivering products to different locations. Overseeing production, staff and the front counter are just a few of the responsibilities required for this important position.
Duties
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve store goals and objectives.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Oversee sales management initiatives to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Maintain effective communication with team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Organize daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, merchandising, planning and follow-up of protocols.
- Supervise store activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures with an emphasis on Quality Assurance in every step of production.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Implement promotional strategies to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role within food service or manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Proficient in inventory management practices and sales strategies.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Ability to oversee and maintain quality control of products/production.
- Able to learn quickly with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Eager to learn and take instruction and constructive criticism.
- Previous experience in recruiting and team management is highly desirable.
This position is a full time position. However, as the Assistant General Manager, this position would require weekend shifts if coverage is necessary. Candidates are required to be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and own a vehicle. This position will require you to be able to stand for long periods of time, travel up and down stairs, work in freezer temperatures occasionally, and be able to lift at least 25lbs. Opportunities for advancement and raises available. Candidates must also be in possession of a reliable cellular smart-phone that is available for communication and scheduling purposes.
