About the role
Night owls, this one’s for you. As our Night Auditor, you’ll keep the hotel running smoothly overnight while most of the city sleeps. You’ll balance the day’s numbers, take care of late arrivals and early departures, and make sure the hotel is ready for a great morning. If you like working independently, enjoy helping people, and take pride in a job done right, we’d love to meet you.
Schedule
- Part-time, 2-3 nights per week
- Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekends and holidays required
What you’ll do
- Run the nightly audit: balance the day’s transactions, review guest accounts, and close out the business day in our property management system
- Check guests in and out, handle reservations, and answer the phone
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely
- Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns, and know when to bring in management
- Keep the front desk clean and organized
- Restock the market and coffee bar
- Keep the lobby and public spaces neat and guest-ready
- Open the pool in the morning
- Lend a hand to the breakfast team when needed
- Follow safety and security procedures and report any incidents
What we’re looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of front desk, hotel, or customer service experience preferred. Night audit experience is a big plus, but we’ll train the right person
- Comfortable with computers and basic math
- Calm, reliable, and able to work on your own overnight
- Friendly and easy to talk to, even at 3 AM
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand for long periods
- Bilingual a plus, but not required
