Clinical Project Manager Jobs in Nevada: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a clinical project manager in Nevada?
Most clinical project managers in Nevada hold a bachelor's degree in nursing, life sciences, public health, or a related field, followed by clinical research or healthcare operations experience. Nevada does not require a state-issued license specific to clinical project management, but employers consistently favor candidates who hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute or the Clinical Research Associate credential from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
How much do clinical project managers make in Nevada?
Clinical project managers in Nevada earn a median of about $99,940 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $61,610 for the lowest 10% to over $162,830 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire clinical project managers in Nevada?
Nevada clinical project manager roles are posted by LifeStance Health, Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center, and MountainView Hospital and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nevada's mix of integrated health systems, managed care organizations, and contract research organizations supporting Las Vegas and Reno research corridors keeps demand relatively consistent year-round.
Which Nevada cities have the most clinical project manager jobs?
Las Vegas, Reno, and Henderson account for the most clinical project manager openings in Nevada. Las Vegas and Henderson drive volume through large integrated health systems and managed care operations, while Reno's openings are largely tied to Renown Health and the growing northern Nevada biomedical corridor anchored by the University of Nevada, Reno.
Are there remote clinical project manager jobs in Nevada?
Yes, and more than most clinical roles, since clinical project management is largely desk-based work involving data oversight, regulatory coordination, and vendor management rather than direct patient contact. About 28% of clinical project manager openings tied to Nevada are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the role's strong suitability for distributed work. Regulatory submissions, trial monitoring oversight, and sponsor communication are the functions most frequently performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a clinical project manager in Nevada with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from a related clinical or research operations role such as clinical research coordinator, research nurse, or data manager into a junior project management position. Large Nevada health systems like Renown Health and Valley Health System periodically hire research coordinators and project support associates who take on project management responsibilities over time. Pursuing a Clinical Research Associate credential or completing a PMP examination while in a coordinator role significantly strengthens candidacy for a first clinical project manager title in Nevada.
Where can I find and apply to clinical project manager jobs in Nevada?
