Massachusetts has no state-issued license or registration required for this role. Certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud carry significant weight with Massachusetts employers and are often listed as preferred or required in job postings.

Boston drives the largest share of postings because of its concentration of enterprise tech companies, financial institutions, and cloud-native startups, while Waltham and Burlington are significant because major technology firms have established regional sales offices there that serve the broader New England market.
