Frame your case study fluency upfront
BCG's Manager hiring process runs through multiple rounds of structured case interviews before any offer is extended. Prepare with BCG-specific frameworks and live case practice so visa timeline questions never arise before you've cleared the technical bar.
Clarify your visa category before interviews
BCG sponsors multiple visa types for this role, including E-3 for Australians and TN for Canadians. Knowing which category applies to you lets you answer recruiter questions precisely and signals you've done the groundwork before an offer conversation begins.
Target BCG's recruiting cycles strategically
BCG hires Managers through experienced-hire and MBA pipelines at distinct points in the calendar year. Applying outside active windows reduces your visibility, so align your outreach to the cycle where your background, consulting or industry, is most competitive.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Manager roles
BCG's open Manager - Consulting positions shift by office and practice area. Use Migrate Mate to filter roles by visa sponsorship eligibility so you're only investing time in applications where your authorization pathway is already supported by the employer.
Understand how LCA timing affects your start date
Before BCG can file your H-1B or E-3 petition, the DOL must certify a Labor Condition Application. This step typically takes seven business days but can stretch during peak periods, so flag your target start date with your recruiter early in the offer stage.
Prepare your credential documentation before the offer stage
BCG's immigration team will require academic transcripts and, for specialty occupation purposes, degree equivalency documentation if your credential is from outside the U.S. Having certified copies and any USCIS-recognized evaluation ready accelerates the petition filing timeline considerably.
