Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
H-1B eligibility for Compliance roles requires a degree in a specific field like accounting, finance, or legal studies. A general business degree can invite USCIS scrutiny, so gather course transcripts and a credential evaluation that ties your education directly to a compliance specialty.
Target Ensign's outsourced compliance function specifically
Ensign Services fills compliance needs across its managed service portfolio, so roles often sit under client-facing or regulatory operations teams. Search for titles like compliance analyst, regulatory affairs, or audit coordinator rather than broad legal or risk titles to find the actual open positions.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Ensign compliance openings by visa type
Ensign sponsors multiple visa categories for Compliance, including H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT. Use Migrate Mate to filter their open roles by visa type and confirm sponsorship eligibility before applying, so you're not chasing postings that exclude your status.
Start OPT applications before your program ends
If you're on F-1, USCIS recommends filing your OPT application up to 90 days before your program end date. Compliance roles at outsourcing firms like Ensign often have longer hiring cycles, so an early OPT start date protects you from gaps between graduation and your first day.
Prepare for an LCA-stage salary verification conversation
Before Ensign files your H-1B petition, DOL requires a certified Labor Condition Application confirming your wage meets the prevailing rate for the compliance role and work location. Research DOL wage data for your job title and metro area so you can negotiate from an informed position.
Confirm TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
TN status covers certain accounting and management consultant roles, which can overlap with compliance functions at business services firms. Verify that your specific job duties and degree field meet TN category definitions before framing your application around that pathway at Ensign.

Does Ensign Services sponsor H-1B visas for Compliance roles?
Yes, Ensign Services sponsors H-1B visas for Compliance positions. To qualify, the role must meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard, which requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field like accounting, finance, or regulatory affairs. Your degree and the job's duties need to align clearly, so reviewing USCIS's specialty occupation criteria before applying helps you frame your candidacy accurately.
How do I apply for Compliance jobs at Ensign Services?
You can find open Compliance positions at Ensign Services through Migrate Mate, which lets you filter by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. Ensign's Compliance roles span regulatory operations and audit functions across its outsourcing portfolio, so searching by specific job titles like compliance analyst or regulatory coordinator returns more targeted results than broad category searches.
Which visa types does Ensign Services commonly use for Compliance hires?
Ensign Services sponsors H-1B, EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Compliance roles. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates, while H-1B covers longer-term employment. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican citizens whose compliance job duties fall under qualifying USMCA categories. EB-2 and EB-3 pathways support permanent residency for candidates Ensign wants to retain long term.
What qualifications does Ensign Services expect for Compliance positions?
Compliance roles at Ensign Services typically require a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, with coursework or experience in regulatory frameworks relevant to business process outsourcing. Familiarity with E-Verify compliance, internal audit procedures, or industry-specific regulatory requirements strengthens your application. Roles higher in the function may expect professional certifications such as a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional designation.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Compliance role at Ensign Services?
Timeline depends on your visa pathway. For H-1B, Ensign must first file a DOL Labor Condition Application, which takes about seven business days, then submit the USCIS petition. Standard H-1B processing runs three to five months; premium processing reduces that to 15 business days. For F-1 OPT, USCIS recommends applying 90 days before your program end date. Green Card sponsorship through PERM adds significantly more time given DOL recruitment requirements.
