Frame Your PM Credentials Around Revenue Impact
Gong's Program Managers work closely with go-to-market and revenue teams, so position your experience around measurable outcomes like pipeline efficiency, cross-functional launch velocity, or customer onboarding scale rather than generic project delivery.
Target Roles Tied to Product Launches
Gong frequently opens Program Manager headcount around product expansion cycles. Applying when new features or platform integrations are announced improves your chances of landing a role with dedicated budget and clearer sponsorship intent.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Active Openings
Gong's sponsorship-eligible Program Manager roles don't always stay open long. Use Migrate Mate to filter and track live job postings at Gong filtered by visa sponsorship, so you're applying during active hiring windows rather than after roles are filled.
Prepare a Specialty Occupation Narrative Early
USCIS evaluates whether a Program Manager role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Document how your role demands specialized knowledge in areas like SaaS operations, revenue intelligence platforms, or enterprise program architecture.

Find Program Manager at Gong JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Gong sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Gong's primary employment-based sponsorship activity for Program Managers has been through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways rather than H-1B transfers. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, Gong can file an H-1B transfer, but the company's longer-term sponsorship focus for this function is on permanent residency. Confirm the specific visa support available for each role with the recruiter during early conversations.
Which visa types are commonly used for Program Manager roles at Gong?
EB-2 and EB-3 are the visa categories most associated with Program Manager sponsorship at Gong. EB-2 typically applies when the role requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers roles filled by professionals with a bachelor's degree. Both require PERM labor certification through DOL before the USCIS petition stage. Candidates from high-demand countries like India should factor in priority date backlogs when planning their timeline.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Gong?
Applications go through Gong's careers page, where Program Manager roles are listed by team and function. To find openings that are actively considering visa sponsorship, browse Migrate Mate's curated job board, which filters Gong postings by sponsorship eligibility. When applying, tailor your materials to Gong's revenue intelligence context and be direct about your work authorization status in early recruiter screens to avoid mismatched expectations.
What qualifications does Gong look for in Program Manager candidates?
Gong's Program Manager roles typically require demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs in a SaaS or enterprise software environment. Candidates who have worked across revenue, product, or customer success organizations are strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related technical field is the baseline expectation. Experience with go-to-market program execution or data-driven operations adds measurable weight to your application.
How do I plan my timeline if Gong is sponsoring my Green Card?
Once Gong agrees to sponsor, the process starts with PERM labor certification at DOL, which can take twelve months or more. After PERM approval, your employer files an I-140 petition with USCIS. If your priority date is current, you can move to adjustment of status. Candidates from India or China face significant wait times due to per-country caps, so starting this process as early as possible in your employment is critical.
