Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Senior Software Development Engineer Jobs at Iterable Jobs
Align your portfolio to Iterable's stack
Iterable's engineering work centers on large-scale event-driven systems, real-time data processing, and SaaS platform reliability. Tailor your resume and GitHub to show direct experience with distributed systems, microservices, and the kind of high-throughput architecture their product demands.
Verify Iterable's LCA filings before applying
The DOL's OFLC disclosure database publishes certified Labor Condition Applications by employer and role. Searching Iterable's past LCA filings confirms which engineering titles they've petitioned for, giving you signal on which job descriptions are realistically tied to H-1B sponsorship.
Clarify sponsorship scope during recruiter screening
At the recruiter screen, ask directly whether the role supports H-1B transfer for current visa holders or new cap-subject filings. Iterable's engineering org has sponsored both, but the process and timeline differ significantly depending on your current status.
Front-load your specialty occupation evidence
For Senior Software Development Engineer roles, USCIS scrutinizes whether the position genuinely requires a specific bachelor's degree field. Prepare documentation showing the technical depth of your prior roles, not just job titles, to support the specialty occupation determination in your I-129 petition.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles efficiently
Searching for engineering roles that come with confirmed sponsorship support wastes time on dead ends. Use Migrate Mate to filter Senior Software Development Engineer openings at Iterable and other Technology and Software companies that have an active sponsorship history.
Time your application around H-1B cap deadlines
If you need a new cap-subject H-1B, USCIS registration opens in March for an October 1 start date. Starting your Iterable application process in the preceding fall gives you enough runway to receive an offer, complete LCA certification, and register before the window closes.

Find Senior Software Development Engineer at Iterable JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Iterable sponsor H-1B visas for Senior Software Development Engineers?
Yes, Iterable sponsors H-1B visas for Senior Software Development Engineer roles. The company has a consistent record of filing H-1B petitions for engineering positions, both for new cap-subject candidates and for transfers from existing H-1B holders. Confirming sponsorship availability for a specific opening is best done during the recruiter screening call, as eligibility can vary by role and team.
Which visa types are commonly used for Senior Software Development Engineer roles at Iterable?
H-1B is the primary visa type used for Senior Software Development Engineers at Iterable, covering both initial cap-subject filings and transfers. For candidates on an employer-sponsored path to permanent residency, Iterable has also supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process, which is typically pursued after an initial period of employment.
What qualifications and experience are expected for Senior Software Development Engineer roles at Iterable?
Iterable's Senior Software Development Engineer roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field. Beyond the degree, candidates are expected to bring hands-on experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and production-scale backend engineering. For H-1B purposes, the degree field matters: a general business or unrelated technical degree is unlikely to satisfy the specialty occupation requirement for this role.
How do I apply for Senior Software Development Engineer jobs at Iterable?
You can find open Senior Software Development Engineer positions at Iterable through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by sponsorship history so you can focus on companies with a track record of supporting international candidates. Once you identify a suitable opening, apply directly through Iterable's careers page. Prepare to discuss your visa status early in the process, as it helps the recruiting team plan the sponsorship timeline alongside the hiring process.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take for a new hire at Iterable?
For cap-subject H-1B candidates, the timeline runs from USCIS registration in March through an October 1 employment start date, assuming selection in the lottery. The LCA must be certified by the DOL before USCIS filing, which adds two to four weeks. Premium processing, available for an additional USCIS fee, can reduce the petition adjudication window to roughly 15 business days, which many employers use to reduce uncertainty after lottery selection.
