Align your portfolio with Iterable's stack
Iterable's engineering work centers on distributed systems, data infrastructure, and API-driven platforms. Before applying, make sure your resume and portfolio surface experience with high-throughput backend systems or event-driven architectures, the roles that attract sponsorship investment.
Target teams with recurring sponsorship history
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for Iterable's Labor Condition Application filings filtered by engineering job titles. This shows which roles and seniority levels the company files LCAs for most consistently, helping you prioritize where to direct your application.
Time your application around H-1B cap cycles
If you need H-1B cap sponsorship, your start date at Iterable must align with the October 1 fiscal year. Confirm during your first recruiter screen that the role is eligible for cap-subject filing, since some contractor or project-based engineering roles may not qualify.
Clarify sponsorship scope before accepting an offer
Ask explicitly whether Iterable will sponsor both the H-1B and a future EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card petition. Some employers sponsor the initial work visa but delay or decline PERM sponsorship, which affects your long-term planning significantly.
Use Migrate Mate to filter live Engineering openings
Filtering for sponsorship-confirmed Engineering roles at Iterable manually is time-consuming. Use Migrate Mate to browse open positions at Iterable already screened for visa sponsorship eligibility, so you apply where your authorization needs are already anticipated.
Prepare credential documentation before offer stage
For specialty occupation H-1B approval, USCIS requires that your degree directly relates to the engineering role. If your degree title doesn't map cleanly to the job description, gather transcripts and course syllabi early to support a credential equivalency analysis.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Iterable sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Yes, Iterable sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Engineering roles. Sponsorship is tied to specific positions rather than being a blanket company policy, so confirm eligibility with the recruiter early in the process. Roles in backend engineering, platform infrastructure, and data systems have historically been associated with sponsorship activity based on DOL filing records.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at Iterable?
Applications go through Iterable's careers page, where Engineering roles are listed by team and seniority. You can also find and filter Iterable's open Engineering positions on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles confirmed for visa sponsorship. Tailor your application to the specific engineering domain, since Iterable hires across platform, data, and product infrastructure teams with distinct technical expectations.
Which visa types does Iterable commonly use for Engineering roles?
Iterable sponsors H-1B visas for Engineering hires requiring cap-subject work authorization. For longer-term permanent residence, EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card pathways are also supported, typically initiated through the PERM labor certification process with the DOL. The right pathway depends on your qualifications, the role's requirements, and where you are in your immigration timeline.
What qualifications does Iterable expect for sponsored Engineering positions?
Iterable's Engineering roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field, which also satisfies USCIS specialty occupation requirements for H-1B purposes. Practical experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or data pipeline engineering strengthens your application. Senior and staff-level roles generally expect demonstrated ownership of production systems at scale.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship at Iterable?
H-1B cap registration opens in March each year, with employment start dates no earlier than October 1. If you're on OPT, confirm your end date and whether your degree qualifies for the 24-month STEM extension, which gives you more runway. Start conversations with Iterable recruiters well before March so the company can initiate your USCIS registration before the registration window closes.
