Align your credentials before applying
Jobot screens Construction Manager candidates against employer-set requirements, so gather your project portfolios, PMP or CCM certifications, and degree transcripts before outreach. Gaps in documentation slow the process once a role is identified.
Target Jobot's active construction verticals
Jobot consistently fills Construction Manager roles across commercial build-out, healthcare facilities, and civil infrastructure. Tailor your resume to the specific vertical you're targeting so recruiters can match you to active requisitions faster.
Clarify your visa type with your recruiter upfront
Jobot sponsors multiple visa categories for this role. Tell your recruiter your current status, authorized work period, and cap-gap eligibility in your first conversation so they only pitch you roles where the end client's timeline is workable.
Understand how staffing firm H-1B sponsorship works
When Jobot sponsors your H-1B, they are the petitioner of record, but you work on-site at a client. USCIS requires that the staffing firm maintain sufficient control over your work. Confirm this structure is reflected correctly in your offer before filing.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Construction Manager roles
Search Migrate Mate to filter Construction Manager openings at Jobot by visa type. This lets you identify which active listings align with your H-1B, OPT, or TN status before you contact a recruiter directly.

Find Construction Manager at Jobot JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for Construction Managers?
Yes, Jobot sponsors H-1B visas for Construction Manager roles. As a staffing firm, Jobot acts as the petitioning employer, placing you with end clients on project sites. Because Jobot manages sponsorship on behalf of multiple clients, availability depends on which active roles align with your qualifications and the client's timeline for filing.
Which visa types are commonly used for Construction Manager roles at Jobot?
Jobot supports H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for Construction Manager positions. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates early in their careers, while TN works for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering and management roles. H-1B is the most flexible long-term option if you're planning to stay in the U.S. beyond your OPT window.
What qualifications does Jobot expect for sponsored Construction Manager roles?
Most Construction Manager roles Jobot fills require a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, alongside hands-on project experience. Certifications like PMP or OSHA 30 strengthen your profile. For H-1B sponsorship, your degree must align directly with the role's specialty occupation requirements as defined by USCIS.
How do I apply for Construction Manager jobs at Jobot?
Browse open Construction Manager listings at Jobot on Migrate Mate, where you can filter by visa sponsorship type to find roles that match your status. Once you identify a relevant opening, apply directly and be upfront about your visa type in your first recruiter conversation so they can match you to roles with compatible sponsorship timelines.
How do I manage the H-1B filing timeline when working with a staffing firm like Jobot?
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed with USCIS by April 1 for an October 1 start date, so you and Jobot need to align well before the March registration window. If you're on OPT with cap-gap protection, confirm your OPT end date and whether your situation qualifies to bridge the gap while your petition is pending.
