We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.
We connect people around the globe with stories and interactive experiences by pairing exceptional content with world-class innovation. Our Games offering lets members instantly play a curated collection of fun, approachable games seamlessly included as part of their membership. This is an opportunity to define our emerging Games offering and build something with real impact.
The Games Finance & Strategy (F&S) team develops strategic insights to advance the company’s gaming initiative and is primarily responsible for programming and growth strategy, performance/audience insights, competitive analyses, and metric development. Executives and senior management depend heavily on our team to accurately assess, contextualize, and forecast the business and lead the strategic analysis that is used to inform critical business decisions.
In this role, you will need to be a self-starter, an analytical thought partner with a keen eye for detail, and have proven skills and experiences as a cross-functional partner. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and embrace ambiguity. You must be an expert communicator who is able to convey complex ideas using both qualitative and quantitative means to effectively work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
The position is based in our Los Angeles office with a hybrid Tues-Thurs in-office schedule.
Responsibilities

- Spearhead format and adoption of automation and self-serving analytics tooling in partnership with our Data Science & Engineering team
- Regularly present reports on performance and progress in an easy-to-understand format to senior business leaders
- Collaborate directly with top leaders in the Games organization: identify underlying trends, translate high-level thoughts into actionable strategies with measurable goals, and assist in socializing these strategies and coordinating execution across a diverse set of stakeholders
- Netflix Games is fast-growing with a flat organizational structure, which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties. You must be motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively autonomously.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of experience in a highly analytical role, ideally in management consulting, investment banking, or in a strategy & operations-focused role at a top-tier media or technology company
- Strong passion for games, Netflix IP, or the entertainment industry at large
- Experience conducting quantitative analyses (including modeling) and qualitative analyses that can drive insights and results
- Excellent communication/presentation skills with a track record of presenting complex analyses to senior management clearly and concisely
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently; must thrive in a fast-paced, always-changing environment
- Highly intellectually curious, has the courage to challenge the status quo, and exhibits the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Finance Jobs at Netflix Jobs
Align your credentials to Netflix's finance stack
Netflix Finance roles frequently require experience with large-scale financial modeling, content investment analysis, or international tax structures. Tailor your resume to reflect these areas, since generic accounting experience is unlikely to clear Netflix's bar for senior Finance hires.
Target roles where sponsorship history is strongest
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data to identify which specific Finance titles Netflix has filed Labor Condition Applications for. FP&A, Tax, and Treasury functions appear consistently, so prioritizing applications to those teams gives you the clearest sponsorship precedent.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Finance roles
Finding visa-sponsored Finance positions at a specific company is time-consuming without the right tools. Browse Netflix's open Finance roles on Migrate Mate to filter by visa type and identify which positions are actively open to sponsored candidates.
Understand how Netflix structures the H-1B filing process
Netflix files H-1B petitions through external immigration counsel, not an in-house team. Once you receive an offer, expect a formal intake process with their legal team before USCIS registration in March. Ask your recruiter explicitly about their cap-subject filing timeline.
Prepare for a multi-stage technical and behavioral process
Netflix Finance interviews test both financial modeling depth and cultural fit against their keeper test. Weak modeling outputs or vague answers about past financial impact will end the process early, regardless of your visa situation.

Find Finance at Netflix JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Netflix sponsor H-1B visas for Finance roles?
Yes, Netflix sponsors H-1B visas for Finance roles. The company participates in the annual USCIS H-1B lottery each March and works with outside immigration counsel to file cap-subject petitions for new hires. If you're already on H-1B with another employer, Netflix can file an H-1B transfer, which lets you start work as soon as USCIS receives the petition.
Which visa types does Netflix commonly sponsor for Finance positions?
Netflix sponsors a range of visa categories for Finance hires, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Netflix also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, which typically follows after a period of employment.
How do I apply for Finance jobs at Netflix?
Applications go through Netflix's careers site, where Finance roles are posted by team and function. Migrate Mate aggregates Netflix's open Finance positions in one place and lets you filter by visa type, so you can confirm sponsorship is available before applying. Netflix's Finance hiring process typically involves an initial recruiter screen, a technical modeling assessment, and multiple rounds of interviews with the business.
What qualifications does Netflix look for in Finance candidates who need sponsorship?
Netflix Finance roles generally require a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with senior roles expecting an MBA or CPA. Beyond credentials, Netflix evaluates candidates on their ability to operate autonomously, communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders, and handle ambiguity in a fast-moving content business. Industry experience in technology, media, or subscription businesses is an advantage.
How do I time my Netflix Finance application around H-1B cap deadlines?
The H-1B cap registration window opens each March, with employment typically starting October 1 if selected. If you need cap-subject sponsorship, target a Netflix offer before February so their legal team can prepare your registration. If you miss the cap, ask whether a cap-exempt filing option applies to your situation, or whether STEM OPT extension bridges the gap while you wait for the next cycle.
