INTRODUCTION
Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human
Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence.
This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.
ABOUT THE JOB
Auth0 is an easy-to-implement authentication and authorization platform designed by developers for developers. We make applications’ login boxes safe, secure, and seamless for anyone logging in.
As a Developer Platform Partner (DPP) Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, building and maintaining strong relationships, taking those partnerships from 0-1 with product, and co-marketing campaigns with leading developer platforms like Vercel, Netlify, Replit, Lovable, Cloudflare and others. You will help ensure Auth0 shows up in the ecosystems where developers already work and learn, by driving joint campaigns, integrations, and events.
You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Developer Relations, Startups and Marketing teams, as well as with external partner teams. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands the AI dev tools landscape, thrives on building successful partnerships, and is passionate about creating technical marketing that resonates with developers and the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, source, and cold-outreach high-potential developer platform partners (Replit, Lovable, Vercel, Bolt, Builder.io) and serve as their primary point of contact for all Developer Marketing activities at Auth0.
- Evaluate how prospective partners fit our integration ecosystem and strategize how the partnership drives developer signups and activation.
- Influence internally and externally without formal authority — advocating for partner work to be prioritized on the product roadmap, while simultaneously getting partners to prioritize Auth0 in their own ecosystems.
- Lead co-marketing campaigns with Dev Partners (e.g., Vercel, Replit, Lovable, Bolt, Builder.io), including designing campaigns from 0-1, executing end-to-end, and tracking success.
- Drive event presence with partners, including hackathons, conferences, webinars, demo nights, and third-party events.
- Collaborate with Product and Advocacy teams to translate technical integrations into compelling developer narratives (blogs, landing pages, videos).
- Align with Demand Gen to ensure developer-first positioning in enterprise campaigns.
- Track KPIs such as signups, activations, and engagement to measure ROI and optimize campaigns.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3–5 years of experience in partner marketing, developer marketing, or a technical product role with a partnership component.
- Demonstrated ability to source and close cold partnerships — not just manage warm inbound relationships.
- Strong cross-functional influence skills; comfortable driving prioritization decisions with product teams and external partners without formal authority.
- Technical fluency sufficient to evaluate integration complexity, understand product roadmap tradeoffs, and assess what a partnership requires to go live.
- Proven success running joint go-to-market campaigns with external partners, ideally in developer tools, SaaS, or startup ecosystems.
- Strong storytelling ability to translate technical features into developer-first value propositions.
- Experience supporting event marketing (meetups, hackathons, conference sponsorships).
- Data-driven mindset with experience measuring campaign performance and iterating.
- Deep understanding of how developers discover, evaluate, and adopt new tools.
Preferred:
- Hands-on familiarity with the modern AI developer tooling ecosystem — platforms like Vercel, Replit, Lovable, Bolt, Builder.io, and similar. Understands these communities from the inside, not just as a marketer.
- Experience with AI-native or vibe-coding platforms (V0, Lovable, Cursor, or similar).
- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment (startup, SaaS, or open-source ecosystem).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Align your portfolio to identity security narratives
Okta hires marketers who can translate technical concepts like zero-trust and identity governance into campaign narratives. Tailor your work samples to show B2B SaaS or cybersecurity positioning experience before you apply.
Clarify your visa type before interviewing
Okta sponsors H-1B, TN, and OPT, but each has different timelines and requirements. Know which category applies to you and be ready to name it clearly if a recruiter asks about your authorization status.
Target roles that map to your degree field
H-1B sponsorship requires a specialty occupation tied to your degree. Marketing roles at a tech company like Okta often require business, communications, or marketing degrees. A mismatch between your degree and the role description can create complications during the USCIS petition review.
Ask about LCA filing timelines during the offer stage
Before Okta can file your H-1B petition, they must submit a Labor Condition Application to DOL. Ask the recruiting team early whether legal review has started, so you can anticipate the gap between offer acceptance and petition filing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Marketing roles at Okta
Okta posts Marketing roles across seniority levels at different times of year. Use Migrate Mate to browse current openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you're only spending time on positions that match your immigration needs.
Document campaign results with quantifiable business impact
Okta's Marketing hiring panels evaluate pipeline contribution, not just creative output. Prepare case studies showing pipeline-influenced revenue, MQL growth, or customer acquisition metrics from previous roles to strengthen both your candidacy and any future visa petition evidence.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Okta sponsor H-1B visas for Marketings?
Yes, Okta sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing roles. The process requires Okta's legal team to file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before submitting the H-1B petition to USCIS. For new H-1B holders, timing matters because cap-subject petitions are tied to the April lottery and an October 1 start date.
How do I apply for Marketing jobs at Okta?
Applications go through Okta's careers portal. For visa-sponsored roles specifically, Migrate Mate lists open Marketing positions at Okta filtered by sponsorship eligibility, which saves time compared to reviewing every listing manually. Tailor your resume to reflect B2B SaaS or enterprise software marketing experience, as that aligns with Okta's typical team needs.
Which visa types does Okta commonly use for Marketing roles?
Okta sponsors H-1B visas for most full-time Marketing hires requiring sponsorship. F-1 OPT and CPT are available for students and recent graduates, and TN visa status is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles. For longer-term permanent residency, Okta also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways.
What qualifications does Okta expect for Marketing roles?
Most Marketing roles at Okta require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. For mid-to-senior positions, demonstrated experience in B2B demand generation, product marketing, or partner marketing in a SaaS environment is expected. The degree field matters for H-1B eligibility, so a close match between your credentials and the role description strengthens your petition.
How do I think about the timeline from offer to starting work on a visa?
Timeline depends on your visa type. OPT authorization can begin quickly if your EAD is already approved. TN status for Canadian nationals can be obtained at the border with the right documentation. H-1B sponsorship for cap-subject candidates requires winning the April lottery, which means a potential wait until October 1 to start. Discuss these scenarios with Okta's HR team early in the process.
