Credential Your Clinical Admin Background Early
Patient Service Specialist roles at Texas Health Resources require demonstrated experience in patient registration, scheduling, or insurance verification. Organize your credentials, employer letters, and any Epic or Cerner system training documentation before you start applying.
Target Postings Across the THR Network
Texas Health Resources operates hospitals and outpatient facilities across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Patient Service Specialist openings vary by facility and shift, so search across the full network rather than limiting yourself to a single location or department.
Understand How Healthcare Employers Handle H-1B Timing
H-1B sponsorship for administrative healthcare roles follows the standard USCIS cap and lottery cycle. If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, align your application timeline so any offer and I-129 filing can reach USCIS before the April filing window closes.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Sponsoring Openings
Many Patient Service Specialist postings do not specify visa sponsorship availability in the job description itself. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified sponsoring openings at Texas Health Resources and surface roles where your visa type is supported.
Prepare for E-Verify During Onboarding
Texas Health Resources participates in E-Verify, which means your work authorization will be confirmed electronically at hire. Have your I-94, visa stamp, and any EAD documentation organized and current before your start date to avoid onboarding delays.

Find Patient Service Specialist at Texas Health Resources JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Texas Health Resources sponsor H-1B visas for Patient Service Specialists?
Yes, Texas Health Resources has a history of sponsoring H-1B visas for Patient Service Specialist roles. These positions are administrative rather than clinical, so the sponsorship process follows standard H-1B employer filing procedures through USCIS. If you're cap-subject, the April lottery window is the critical timeline to plan around when negotiating your start date.
Which visa types are commonly used for Patient Service Specialist roles at Texas Health Resources?
H-1B is the most common nonimmigrant visa route for Patient Service Specialist roles at Texas Health Resources. For longer-term pathways, the company has also sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through PERM labor certification for employees in this function. Your eligibility depends on your specific degree, field of study, and role level.
What qualifications are expected for Patient Service Specialist positions at Texas Health Resources?
Texas Health Resources typically looks for experience in patient-facing administrative functions such as registration, scheduling, insurance verification, or billing. Familiarity with electronic health record systems like Epic is valued. A degree in health administration, business, or a related field strengthens both your application and your H-1B specialty occupation case.
How do I apply for Patient Service Specialist jobs at Texas Health Resources?
You can browse and apply for Patient Service Specialist openings directly through the Texas Health Resources careers portal. Because not all postings specify visa sponsorship availability, using Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring roles at Texas Health Resources saves significant time and helps you focus your applications on openings where your visa type is supported.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship before starting at Texas Health Resources?
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, the process typically spans several months from offer to approval. USCIS opens H-1B registration in early March, with filing in April and employment start dates no earlier than October 1. Build this cycle into your negotiation so your offer letter and start date are realistic given the USCIS timeline.
