Frame Your Experience Around Analytics Consulting Sales
Tiger Analytics works with enterprise clients on data and AI engagements, so position your Business Development background around solution selling, consulting cycles, or technology partnerships rather than transactional sales. Recruiters are screening for fit with that client profile.
Confirm Your OPT Start Date Before Applying
If you're on F-1 OPT, verify your Employment Authorization Document reflects the correct start date before outreach. Tiger Analytics can engage OPT candidates, but any gap between your authorization date and the role's target start date complicates the offer stage.
Target Roles With a Clear Specialty Occupation Argument
H-1B eligibility for Business Development roles depends on USCIS accepting the position as a specialty occupation. Roles tied to analytics product lines or technical client engagements have a stronger case than general sales titles, so look for job descriptions that emphasize domain expertise.
Search Verified Sponsoring Employers Using Migrate Mate
Filter Business Development openings by visa type on Migrate Mate to surface roles at Tiger Analytics where sponsorship is confirmed. This saves time you'd otherwise spend cold-applying to postings with no clear path to sponsorship.
Prepare Your LCA Documentation Well Before the Offer
Tiger Analytics must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your H-1B petition reaches USCIS. Asking your hiring contact early whether an immigration attorney is already engaged signals you understand the process and prevents last-minute delays.
Align Your PERM Timeline If You're Targeting a Green Card
Tiger Analytics sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 pathways, but PERM labor certification with the DOL can take over a year before an I-140 petition is even filed. Raise your long-term sponsorship expectations during negotiations, not after signing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Tiger Analytics sponsor H-1B visas for Business Development roles?
Yes, Tiger Analytics sponsors H-1B visas for Business Development positions, though approval depends on USCIS classifying the specific role as a specialty occupation. Positions focused on analytics consulting, technical client engagements, or AI solution sales tend to meet that bar more cleanly than generalist sales titles. Confirming the exact job description before applying helps you assess eligibility.
How do I apply for Business Development jobs at Tiger Analytics?
You can apply directly through Tiger Analytics' careers page or find open Business Development roles filtered by visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate. Before applying, review the job description carefully to confirm it aligns with your visa category, whether that's F-1 OPT, TN visa, or H-1B, since each has different timing and documentation requirements that affect when you can start.
Which visa types does Tiger Analytics commonly use for Business Development hires?
Tiger Analytics sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways for Business Development roles. F-1 OPT is the most common entry point for recent graduates, while H-1B and TN are typical for professionals already in the workforce. EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship is available for longer-term employees pursuing permanent residence.
What qualifications does Tiger Analytics expect for Business Development roles?
Tiger Analytics typically looks for candidates with experience in B2B sales or client development within the technology, analytics, or consulting sectors. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field is standard, and familiarity with data analytics or AI services strengthens your application. For H-1B purposes, your degree field needs to align with the job's core responsibilities.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Business Development role at Tiger Analytics?
If you're targeting H-1B sponsorship, the annual cap registration window opens in March, with employment starting October 1 at the earliest. For F-1 OPT candidates, your authorization period dictates your available start window, so engage Tiger Analytics early enough to allow time for offer finalization and DOL Labor Condition Application processing before your OPT expires.
