Job Description
The Department of Applied Physiology & Kinesiology (APK) at the University of Florida (UF) is searching for a full-time, non-tenure track instructional assistant professor (lecturer) to join our team. The anticipated start date is August 16, 2026, though an earlier start may be negotiable. This is a 9-month, 1.0 FTE, non-tenure track faculty position with potential summer employment opportunities. Responsibilities related to this position may include, but are not limited to, designing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and labs in Applied Human Physiology and Exercise Physiology. Primary duties for this position are instructional, but involvement in service at the department, college, and university levels is also expected.

Currently, APK employs 35 full-time faculty and enrolls approximately 1,100 students (~900 undergraduate and ~230 graduate).
